More emails won’t fix this

Hey Reader,

I don’t know everything about how things operate online, but I do know email.

And I know that it’s not getting the attention I think it deserves from creators.

It’s often a backburner strategy, for “just in case” type scenarios. You know, like “just in case TikTok gets banned.”

But that’s about to change.

This is the year EMAIL gets to be the Main Character.

For many reasons. All of which I covered in this week’s podcast:

Email and Wait Is Dead in 2026: Why Your Email Needs Strategy, Not Blind Hope

Hitting send on just any email won’t do it in 2026. And sending more emails or growing your list won’t fix a weak strategy.

We can do better.

Here’s what I hope to see in 2026 — and what I predict will change for creators using email in the next year.

Tune in, reply to this email with thoughts, or DM me over on Instagram. I want to hear what you think!

Let’s Duett,

It’s officially sweating season in Nashville, and I’ve got plans to hang by the pool on Friday with my sweet friend Elaina Joy. I played slow pitch softball yesterday in what was probably 70% humidity — the kind where you can cut it with a knife and you just wait and HOPE for a slight...
