Hey there, Done & Delivered Client! We’re launching our waitlist for Done & Delivered out into the wild — since we’re nearly booked through the end of 2026 and planning for 2027. To do that, I'm hosting a free workshop on September 16. If you know anyone who might be interested in having us strategize, write and send emails for them (like we do for you!), please forward them this email. Or text them this link to register. Once they're registered, they'll learn more about Done & Delivered! Hey Reader! About that long list of things I want to change in my email marketing…
Ugh, it’s annoying, because — like you — I have so many wonderful resources and things to share with new subscribers… that just haven’t ended up in my welcome sequence yet. I’ve been busy! You’ve been busy! 👉 Maybe your welcome sequence is old. Or it’s only one email (and woefully insufficient). 👉 Or you’ve got a cookbook that’s only being shared with new subscribers once you remember to share it in a newsletter. 👉 Or you’re sending 4 emails/week without any way for your list to say “I want less,” and still stay subscribed. 👉 Or you’ve created an amazing lead magnet that in the back of your mind you know should be sent to everyone who’s new — because it’s so helpful for getting the most out of your content! — but it’s merely sitting in Drive. Our new subscribers deserve the best from the very first emails they get from us — our generous, valuable, brand-defining content or resources — to share our expertise and solve their problems as quickly as we can. Yes, email marketing is built to LAST, and LAST it has — in my case, my welcome sequence has been running for over 7 years. But, still, there are things that need to be addressed. And updated. I’ll go first. I’ll show you what’s outdated about MY old 2019 welcome sequence… by way of a public “roast.” 😅 … so that you can take the lessons I’m learning and apply them to your own email strategy — to get better-fit subscribers and make sure your emails actually deliver your best content to new subscribers. Introducing a Free Live WorkshopMy Team Roasted Me (with Love):Learn from My Email Mistakes & Refresh Your Strategy in 3 StepsTime for a refresh! Come see what I’d fix in my old welcome sequence strategy. In 2019, I built a welcome sequence that served its purpose… until it didn't. My business has shifted since, and now it feels stale. My team dug into my email setup (like we do for clients). Come see what I'd change, and what you might need to update too. Join me to —
I had my team “roast” my current email setup this summer, in detail, so I can finally improve what’s fallen off and make it more strategic. And I thought, why not share that with YOU, so you can learn from it too?! I started my Duett email list in 2019, buckled down, did my client work, sent a weekly email, turned them into over 80 evergreen nurture emails that people STILL reply to — so what could I POSSIBLY need to update!? You might be surprised. Register here to find out next week! Plus, when you register, you’ll immediately get my Email Refresh Self-Audit: 5 Questions to Assess What's Stale. It’ll only take a few minutes, and you’ll have a clear list of potential edits ready to go before our workshop next week. Let’s Duett, Allea P.S. When you register for the workshop, you’ll immediately get my Email Refresh Self-Audit: 5 Questions to Assess What's Stale, so you can take a few minutes to look at your own goals before we meet! Hey Reader! I’m a generally reflective person… but I’m also a very practical get-down-to-business kind of person, and often that takes the driver’s seat. But I got back from a trip to Europe this summer right around the day Duett turned 8 years old. My 2018, pre-pandemic baby… going into 3rd grade soon. 😂 That got me thinking about how much has changed for me in all that time. My business has been taking some turns (the good kind) this year, and I’ve simply been adding them to the list of...
Hey Reader! I have a bone to pick. Sure, I have a few, but I have ONE in particular that’s been getting under my skin… Like, who let my email strategy get STALE? Who let my email template annoy me for months (if not a year) just putting that on the backburner to “fix when I have time”? And who has been contemplating segmenting her list for literal YEARS and hasn’t spent more than 10 seconds actually thinking about it? Oh wait, that’s ME. Wait, ME?! You mean — this email expert with a podcast...
Hey Reader! I'm back. Three weeks in Italy, France, and Spain — my first real vacation since 2019. Before I left, I told my team I'd check in twice a week. I checked in six times. There was nothing for me to do. Nothing at all. My Asana was empty. My inbox was handled. And Kat? She had a whole sales conversation and a new client booked without me (literally at all) — which is usually my job, my call, my face on the screen. I came home and just felt... cared for. By my own team. That's the...
